Neighborhood Outreach
Joy Ministries held a neighborhood celebration in one of our adopted neighborhoods in Virginia Beach. We were so blessed to have the City of Virginia Beach and the Police Department partner with us to make this day very special for all that attended.
A local food bank also joined us to pass out food to families in need. Aside from all the carnival games, popcorn, food, fun, and prizes available, every resident had a chance to hear the Gospel message. We had a wonderful crowd come to join us in all the festivities.
During the outreach an alter-call was held and many people made the decision to give their lives to the Lord. It was such a blessing to see so many people hungry for Jesus! Their lives will never be the same! The very next day, our workers were out in their neighborhood ministering to and praying for the people.
We also handed out Bibles to those who had accepted the Lord into their lives if they didn’t already have one. We know that their relationship with Christ will flourish as they spend time in His Word! God is so amazing and we are rejoicing for all that He has done!
