Costa Rica 

Evan. Danette has known since she was a young girl that a part of God’s purpose for her life was to bring God’s truth to Latin American. Years ago as she returned from a missionary trip to South America, the Lord told her that the next time she went back to Latin America she would be going in her purpose. We are now seeing the fulfillment of that promise!

 

The Empowering Women for Leadership International Conference was held in San Jose, Costa Rica, at the largest church in the country, Oasis de Esperanza (Oasis of Hope). There were over 1,000 women from all over the nation in attendance at this ground-breaking conference, and 7,000 people, both men and women came to two miracle services held at Oasis de Esperanza. God performed so many incredible miracles during that week. Here are a few of them:

• A Catholic woman heard an announcement about the meetings on the radio and came to the conference. She was overwhelmed by the presence of God and received her salvation and was filled the Holy Spirit. She kept saying, “I don’t know what this is, but thank you, thank you, thank you!”
• The Lord spoke to Rev. Danette during one of the services that as the women began to dance before Him as King David danced with all his might, they would receive their miracle! The women jumped out of their seats and into the aisles and began to worship the Lord with complete freedom and great expectation. All over the sanctuary, women were shouting and thanking God as miraculous physical healings were being manifested.
• A woman who had been diagnosed with bone cancer in her leg was miraculously healed during one of the miracle services. When she came into the service she was unable to walk, but when the healing hand of God came upon her she leaped to her feet and began running around the church as she praised God for her miracle.
• Evan. Danette prayed for and anointed pastors’ wives and women leaders from churches all over the nation. The leaders then formed a prayer tunnel and as all the women walked through their outstretched arms, the fire of God fell with such impact that women were staggering and falling and many had to be supported and carried out the other side. Women were on the floor everywhere, prostrate under the power of the Spirit.
• God spoke a word of knowledge through Rev. Danette and called out a young woman named Karen, a very unlikely name in a Hispanic nation. The Lord told Karen He knew her by name, He knew everything she had been through and He had been with her through it all, He wanted to encourage her that she was loved by God and loved by the people of God, and that she was accepted and cherished. We learned later that Karen had been a prostitute in a near-by nation and had come to Costa Rica to change her life after recently being saved. How awesome it was that God used the conference to encourage this precious woman and restore her self-esteem.

 

An entire nation has been touched in this week of radical encounter with God. The unquenchable fire of God’s truth has been ignited in the hearts of these women and they are carrying it back to their churches all over the nation.
