This outreach of Joy Ministries was established in honor of Pastor Danette's daughter, Destiny. As a single mom, Pastor Danette looked for assistance in paying for a quality Christian education for her but found none. Then the Lord spoke to her heart and encouraged her to take a step of faith to be a blessing to others. As a result, the Destiny Scholarship Fund was established. Knowing that each of the children we work with has a 'destiny' for the Lord, we want them to have the opportunity to acheive academic excellence in a Christian environment. Also, as the children from our 'adopted' neighborhoods get older, we will also be able to assist them with college expenses through this fund."
